Paul Nestor, President, eRisk Solutions
Mr. Nestor leads the Accident Reconstruction, Cause & Origin, Claims Adjustment Services and Compliance & Loss Prevention operations. Mr. Nestor has over 45 years of experience in the insurance claims industry and has gained significant insights on the impact of large losses including those from trucking accidents, hazardous material, equipment malfunction, spill response and industry related issues. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Industry Claims, providing critical knowledge and oversight by developing policies and procedures to assure overall quality and timeliness of claims services.
Joseph P. DiFranco, Senior Vice President, Compliance and Loss Control, eRisk Solutions, LLC
Joseph DiFranco served as eRisk Solutions first in-house Technical Investigator and is currently the Senior Vice President of Safety & Loss Prevention and Technical Investigations at eRisk Solutions. A 30-year career firefighter, inspector and investigator for the Peabody, Massachusetts, Fire Department, retired in 2014, Joe is a code enforcement professional and a nationally, board-certified, fire and explosion investigator, vehicle fire investigator and evidence collection technician with decades of experience. Joe is a Past President of the Fire Prevention Association of Massachusetts where he worked to improve fire codes and fire safety through education and legislation in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and nationally. He served 2-terms as President of Metro Fire Arson Investigators Association in Massachusetts and is the former secretary of the Florida Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators where he was responsible for the continued education and investigative training of all members including local, regional, state, and federal fire and law enforcement officials. Joe is a court qualified expert witness for the purpose of fire and explosion testimony and a nationally recognized insurance professional in the areas of loss prevention and safety whose training and experience is substantial and ongoing.
Nick Kosiavelon, Esq., Shareholder, Boyle Shaughnessy Law
Nick Kosiavelon is a Shareholder at Boyle | Shaughnessy Law, practicing in the Firm’s Boston office. Nick focuses his practice on environmental litigation, products liability litigation, construction defect litigation, toxic torts, and catastrophic losses. Prior to Boyle | Shaughnessy Law, Nick worked as an Assistant Attorney General for Massachusetts with the Environmental Strike Force. As a prosecutor, he was responsible for state-wide enforcement of all Massachusetts environmental laws. Nick also worked as a Chemical Engineer for Johnson Matthey, Inc. before attending law school, supervising chemical processes at the world’s largest catalytic converter plant. Nick began his career as a trial attorney as a prosecutor and he has continued with his trial practice to the present. Over the course of his legal career, Nick has tried over forty cases to verdict, including both environmental and product liability.
